If you are an early childhood service provider, at this time please ensure you keep your centre’s open status and hours of operation up to date. This will ensure families seeking early childhood services will be directed to you.

Latest advice—Friday 27 March
Community kindy will observe student-free days from Monday 30 March.
Community kindergartens will remain open for families of essential workers and children experiencing vulnerability during the student-free days only.
Long day care will remain open as normal, including long day care services who offer an approved kindergarten program.
All other education and care services such as family day care and Outside School Hours Care will remain open unless advised by Queensland Health. Staff, children and families should:
- practice good hand and health hygiene
- exercise social distancing
- stay home if they have travelled overseas in the last 14 days, are unwell or have been in contact with a person with confirmed COVID-19.
