PublishingPageContent

Are you a provisionally registered early childhood teacher needing support to transition to full registration with the Queensland College of Teachers?

If so, experienced, fully registered early childhood teachers are available to support you as mentors.

Am I eligible?

Provisionally registered early childhood teachers working in the Metropolitan (PDF, 5.4MB) and Central Queensland (PDF, 5.3MB) regions are eligible to register for a mentoring relationship.

Early childhood teachers must be working in an approved kindergarten program using the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.

Online or external mentoring

Where a mentor is not available near you, you will be able to access a mentor who will facilitate the mentoring relationship via email, phone, Skype, or other suitable communication methods.

Cost

The pilot program is currently being offered at no cost to successful provisionally registered teachers.

More information

To register your interest in an early childhood teacher mentorship, please contact ecec.mentoring@qed.qld.gov.au.
