Kindergarten, known as kindy, is a part-time educational program that promotes social, emotional, physical and cognitive development and wellbeing for children in the year prior to formal schooling, delivered using an approved kindergarten learning framework.
Kindy is delivered by a qualified teacher and meets government requirements to support children’s participation in quality early childhood education.
