Kindy meet and greets

Hosting a kindy meet and greet is a great opportunity to open your doors for children and families to experience all that kindy has to offer.

The Queensland Government is funding sessional kindergartens and long day care services to support the delivery of an approved kindergarten program to make kindy cheaper for many families. Services can host a meet and greet and invite families to learn more about cheaper kindy from 2023.

By opening your doors for children and families to experience kindy, you can:

  • promote the benefits of kindy participation
  • showcase what your service has to offer
  • provide a welcoming environment for children and families to get to know your service and staff
  • provide an opportunity for children and families to ask questions about kindy.

Download free resources to promote and host your kindy meet and greet event.
