Early childhood education and care services can access resources and equipment, support and funding to assist with inclusion and help children with disability get the most out of their experiences.

Queensland Government services​

Kindergarten Inclusion Support Scheme​ (KISS)​​
A program to support kindergarten services with funding to provide inclusive strategies and educational adjustments.

Specialised Equipment and Resources for Kindergarten (SERK) 
A program delivered by KU Children’s Services provides support to educators through access to professional resources, specialised equipment and advisory services around inclusion. For more information, please call KU Children’s Services SERK hotline on (07) 3865 4780 or visit the KU website

Early Years Connect
A program to help educators support children with disability and complex additional needs to participate in early childhood education and care (ECEC) services. The program consists of 15 information sheets, 16 recorded webinars on inclusion topics and 8 online learning modules.

Australian Government – ECEC services

Inclusion Support Program (ISP)
A program to support inclusion of children in Australian Government-funded ECEC services.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
A scheme to support Australians with a significant and permanent disability.

Interpreting support
Learn about the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS) and how it can assist kindergarten services working with non-English speaking families.
