From 2 July 2018, the Australian Government introduced the Child Care Subsidy to replace the previous Child Care Benefit and Child Care Rebate.  The Child Care Subsidy is an Australian Government initiative and the Queensland Department of Education does not have a role in the management or administration of this subsidy.
