The Department of Education provides grants to both small local services and statewide organisations to deliver a range of Early Years Services (EYS) across the state. The Queensland Government funding is allocated to support services in rural, remote and high-growth communities, through 5 funding categories.
Early Years Services (EYS) grant funding has been restructured to align funding for similar purposes and to streamline performance and reporting requirements.
These changes do not impact kindergarten funding provided through the Queensland Kindergarten Funding Scheme or the Kindergarten Inclusion Support Scheme.
