Have your say on early childhood teacher registration
Early childhood teacher registration serves as a vital screening and monitoring tool to help protect children from harm. It also plays a key role in recognising the early childhoold teachers’ (ECTs') professional skills and experiences.
The Queensland Government has released a targeted consultation paper outlining the background of this review, key issues and consultation option.
Share your views by completing the online survey and share with others in your service or organisation where relevant. We want to hear what the proposed changes to ECT registration requirements could mean for you and your service(s).
You can also make a written submission via email to
Registration.Review@qed.qld.gov.au.
Consultation will remain open until Monday 5 January 2026.
