Approved kindy kindergarten program providers are getting ready to make educational history as the Queensland Government introduces free kindy from 2024.
To coincide with free kindy, a vibrant, new ‘kindergarten identifier’ or 'kindy tick’ is available to providers of free kindy 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year.
Adopting the new kindy tick
-
Acknowledge your status: The kindy tick assures parents and families that your kindergarten program is part of the ground-breaking free kindy initiative.
-
Easy recognition: For families and parents seeking to enrol their child in free kindy from 2024, the kindy tick helps them instantly recognise free approved kindergarten programs.
-
Promote and enrol: As an approved provider, the kindy tick will showcase your free kindergarten program and encourage enrolments.
Transition period
Change is exciting, but it's also important to manage it smoothly. During the transition period, both the existing identifier and the new kindy tick will be in use.
Kindy tick packs
Approved providers of free kindy will receive electronic versions of the new kindy tick and a style guide to allow you to update and modify your digital and online promotions. This ensures you're fully equipped to make the most of this opportunity for immediate promotion of your free kindy program.
Packs with promotional items—stickers and a mobile, as well as the style guide—will also be mailed to approved kindergarten program providers offering free kindy.
Modify your signage
The package includes a 'free' decal. This decal allows you to modify your existing signage, making sure everyone knows you're a part of the free kindy initiative.
