Best friends, Sally and Possum do everything together. Whether it’s making delicious, smooth icing for a cake or flying high in a hot air balloon, Sally and Possum turn everything into an interesting and exciting journey. In each episode, Sally and Possum, together with a little help from their school children friends, use sign language to interact with young children who are deaf or hard of hearing as they find fun-filled solutions to everyday problems.
The series combines live action with animation to create a visually rich and rewarding experience. It prompts the relevance and understanding among Australians of those who are deaf or hard of hearing. Complemented by the Queensland kindergarten curriculum and using play based learning, the show is both educational and exciting.
