Early childhood teacher registration serves as a vital screening and monitoring tool to help protect children from harm. It also plays a key role in recognising the early childhood teachers’ (ECTs') professional skills and experiences.
The Queensland Government released a
targeted consultation paper outlining the background of this review, key issues and consultation option.
The consultation period for this paper has now closed and the Department of Education will review and consider all responses.
