National child safety training companion resources
Developed by the Australian Centre for Child Protection (ACCP) at Adelaide University,
community of practice resources are voluntary and complement the national child safety training package for the education and care sector, developed in partnership with the Queensland Government on behalf of Australian governments.
Communities of Practice sessions
Free online communities of practice are available to help outside school hours care, family day care services, and long day care providers with fewer than 5 services embed into everyday practice, what they have learnt from the national child safety training.
The Department of Education has partnered with Act for Kids to deliver communities of practice over 12 months, using the companion resources.
