Kindy bag tags

To mark the start of free kindy in Queensland, commemorative bag tags are available.

Download the kindy bag tag insert template ready to personalise with children's names. These have been made available through approved kindergarten program providers.

Product information

Bag tags are not a toy. Bag tags should only be used for their intended use, and for children aged 3 years and above.

Bag tags have been manufactured with food grade silicone, and do not contain small parts.

Size and materials

The bag tag is made from silicone.

The bag tag composition:

The tag (body) measures at 9cm circle
The bag tag elastic string measures 15cm

Instructions for attaching the bag tag

Prepare your kindy bag tag. Write your child's name and any other information on the back of the tag.
Identify attachment point. Locate a visible and secure attachment point on your bag, such as near the handle.
Feed through the attachment point. Thread the bag tag through the attachment and using the elastic loop pull through the bag tag.
Close the loop. Once the loop is threaded through the attachment point, pull it securely.
Adjust loop length and extra fastening. If the loop is too loose, adjust its length by opening the loop, tie an extra knot to suit the bag size. This will provide extra fastening.
