Reforming Early Childhood Safety Program

​​​​​​Program overview

The Reforming Early Childhood Safety (RECS) Program is an education and support program focused on quality improvement and building capacity and capability in key areas of ​the national child safety reforms in Queensland early childhood education and care​ services​.

The RECS Program is delivered in partnership with the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA).​

Program focus

The program will focus on:

  • increasing the sector's knowledge and awareness of the national child safety reforms
  • supporting the sector to implement the reforms by developing a suite of practical and tailored resources.

Eligibility to access the program

Early childhood professionals working in targeted Queensland regulated early childhood services—particularly services in remote communities and those run by small providers—will have access t​o the program.

Costs associated with completing the program

There are no costs associated with the RECS Program for employers and employees.
