Our Transitions Position Statement
In 2026, Queensland announced a
Transitions Position Statement (PDF, 2.2MB), sharing evidence-informed commitments to enable educational transitions across birth to Year 12. These commitments have been built from the research literature and consultation with stakeholders in Queensland.
The Queensland Department of Education acknowledges The University of Melbourne who developed the following research. The research will support the department's planning and implementation of transition practices across birth to Year 12.
